The freeze occurred after finishing a rehearsal for a song.
GAMEBRYO DOWNLOAD UPDATE
I downloaded the update (to my USB drive, same place my gamertag and all my DLC is stored). Had my first freeze on the 360 last night. In the words of Tom Cruise, "Help me, Help you!!" I'm not the biggest Rocksmith customer but I did pre-order the game, bought an extra cable, got every single DLC song, I mean I've shown Ubisoft my love, I'm just asking the same in return. If you have to take longer then please do, but please test and re-test the crap out of the patches. I remember that sony will only alow you to download stuff you purchased 5 times, any more and you will have to have a nice conversation with one of their representatives, I'd really like to avoid that.
Is Ubisoft Rocksmith team taking this seriously? Ok maybe this last comment was uncalled for, but I have already re-downloaded some of these DLC songs a few times and I don't feel like deleting the game and re-install it again, at this rate i'm killing my bandwidth. This afternoon I purchased, downloaded and installed the bass DLC because earlier i bought an Epiphone EB-3 bass guitar, after i went for a jog and ate, now i decided to play the game and try the bass guitar and the game froze 6 times. 13) when i played, i got the 1.03 patch and after that I decided to download all the songs i had previously purchased because to continue story/career mode I implemented the temporary fix of deleting the game data and re-installing it. I'va had it happen before freezing twice in a row but this was before the 1.02 patch, ok so last night (aug. My PS3 has frozen 6 times in a row at the "Gamebryo Lightspeed" screen.
